Re: Game detection issues in G-series Profiler Software
Well, that may be your opinion. However, the original post and request for information said:
In reading these forums I see a number of people having issues with game detection - either the game is not being detected as having been installed, or it is detected but the profile does not work when the game is active.
When I launched the game, it did not detect it and hung my computer. What is different about that that this? The only way I could get it to work was to unplug it and plug it back in after I booted the computer up. How is that not a "game detection issue"? I had to use a workaround to get it to work, and that's an issue.
If this is not what they want, then they need to clarify their request. Either way, I no longer have a G15 keyboard hooked up to my gaming computer.

Re: Game detection issues in G-series Profiler Software
maybe the profiler should introduce a "Xfire style" detection/manual setup window.

Re: Game detection issues in G-series Profiler Software
Same exact issue as Harlock.
Game Name: World of Warcraft (Lich King)
OS: Windows 7 64-bit OEM
Install drive and directory: C:\World of Warcraft\
Install Method: Download 6.5 GB
Detection Issue: Key Profile sees WOW and lets me make/assign macros, however; WOW does not show up in the program listing of the LCD manager - and of course I get no stats in the LCD panel.
*Note - am running the latest driver/app software from Logitech for Windows 7, 64-bit.
Thanks,
AJ

Re: Game detection issues in G-series Profiler Software
Try running AA3's profile in persistant mode, or with the profile as the default profile.
Also, good news: I got a list of games that will be natively supported in the next release, and a lot of the requests have been mentioned. Also, expanded Steam support will be available. I'll let you guys know more as soon as I get a release confirmation.
