G35 Doesent Connect in Vista X64
I just got my new G35, installed the latest drivers from here for Vista X64 before plugging it in. Restarted my Computer, plugged it in, no dice.....
The computer does not recognize the device as existing or being connected. Ive tried changing usb ports, reinstalling, uninstalling, and repairing the software.
Ive tried Killing and restarting the G35 Service. Ive tried the 32bit software. Still no avail.
Yes Ive checked the sound devices pane in the Control panel, the headset does not exist in either the playback or recording tab.
Please help.

Re: G35 Doesent Connect in Vista X64
Hi,
The device is showing in Device Manager as a basic audio device. The drivers are not loading.
Please uninstall the softwre completely. I think something is being carried over from one of your may re-installs.
Go in to Device Manager and remove the device.
Do not have the headset plugged in when you start the install.
Logitech Customer Support for further assistance.

Re: G35 Doesent Connect in Vista X64
I Removed the Device, unplugged the headset, Uinstalled the software, and reinstalled the X64 Drivers. I then plugged in the Headset. A window popped up saying "Found New Hardware: Windows needs to install driver software for your Logitech G35 Headset" Which absolutely shouldnt be happening if I just installed the "drivers"
Also, if these are supposed to be 64Bit Drivers, and a 64Bit configuration utility, can you please explain why it installs to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Logitech\G35\" ? ? ?
Help.
