I posted this a few days ago, but my post was moved to the bottom of a post that had been replied to, in my opinion the issue wasnt even simular. I know this is from the headset since the problem never started till I started using this headset.
"This is my 2nd 350 headset. Ive had this problem with both. The problem is with skype and with ventrilo, Its much more noticible in skype. The problem is when Im not talk into the mic directly all the sounds in the background become extremely amplified, the people on skype can hear everything going on in my house and sudden loud noises are deafening, we've tried lots and lots of different set up, and I just barely rebuilt this computer with some new hardware 4 days ago, the problem was gone for the 1st few hours but now has returne Ive been told its related to noise cancelling and some compression issues. Can anyone help me with some info or maybe I need some 3rd party software to help with the noise canceling. Just a note, I hear perfectly on my end, no problems with sound for me at all, this is all from my outbound sounds. Let me know if there is any specific info I can produce to help with."
