Microphones

Does this mic work with the mac mini early 2009 I can not get it to but it works on my old g4 imac just fine.  So it doesn't seem to be a hard ware issue with the mic.  Is there a driver I need to make the mic work on the new mac mini?

Is this a USB mic or an analog mic?

it is a analog mic not a usb thanks

Hi,

Newer Macs do not have a mic in port they have a line in port.

The Logitech mic needs 3 volts biasing in order to work and a line in port does not have this.

The best solution is to exchange the analog mic for a USB mic.
