Greetings!
I’m pleased to announce two new features available in the community as of today: image uploading, and tagging.
Image uploading permits you to add an image to your posts. Just click on the image button (
) and you’ll see the option to upload. You can manage all your uploaded images on your profile page – just click My Profile. This feature is available to all users. The Tagging feature has been turned on in the community, and is also available to all users. Tagging is a way of linking related content within the community, by assigning keywords to posts. These keywords are known as tags, and are intended to describe the content of the post in a single word.
Tag Clouds are available at every level of the community hierarchy to allow you to see what tags have been used within the scope of that level of the hierarchy. By clicking on a tag within a tag cloud, you can see all the uses of that tag within the applicable scope. This is a great way for finding related content on a particular subject!
When choosing a tag for a post, please keep in mind that tags are meant to be contextual representations of the post. They are not intended to express satisfaction or dissatisfaction with a post. Please also keep in mind that tags are a single word; you cannot use phrases or sentences as tags.
