Webcam Messenger: Issues!
Recently I've system recovered my computer (Window Xp). I've attempt to reinstall my webcam's drive/disc files but my webcam still dosen't work. So than, I've downloaded the newer version on Logitech and followed every instructions carefully. Nevertheless, nothing happan; my webcam (QuickCam Messenger) worked a few month's ago and it dosen't seem to be broken. In addition, I've checked if my USB ports worked: and it did. Than I came across the imaging device [Control Panel> Printers and Other Hardwares> Scanners and Cameras> Add an Imaging Device]; it was empty! I've tried the installation wizard but it chouldn't find Logitech's drive; nor any of it's files. There wasen't any yellow/warning marks on the Computers Manger and it didn't even show my webcam's connection. Meaning, when the intallation was at its last step, it asked to plug in my webcam: and so I did. However, no unknown device/detection appeared or any signal that it was connected.
Thank you for reading.

Re: Webcam Messenger: Issues!
1) What is the 8xxxxx (or 860-xxxxxx) series number from the camera's identification tag (FAQ #3427), or preferably... the USB\VID ID?
2) Which version of the Logitech supplied QuickCam software application/drivers is installed (FAQ #5105)?
Thanks.

Re: Webcam Messenger: Issues!
[ Edited ]I've just tried redownloading again, but it still didn't work.
I think the main issue is importing an imaging device, and having that undectable/unknown pop up after pluging the camera (since I don't have both).
